Welcome to SEAS IT

The mission of the SEAS Office of Information Technology (OIT) is to empower our research, academic, and administrative communities through technology and to act as a world-class technology resource to SEAS and the Harvard community as a whole.

Operations

Operations is responsible for the design, maintenance, and support of our core IT infrastructure. Operations is divided into User Support, Core Technologies, and Business and Web Technologies.

User Support

The User Support group provides a phone and email accessible helpdesk as well as deskside support to all members of our community. You can contact support by sending email to help@seas.harvard.edu.

Business and Web Technologies

Business and Web Technologies provides web site hosting, web service design and consulting, database support, and other services focused on the administrative operations of the school.

Core Technologies

Core Technologies is responsible for the basic IT infrastructure of SEAS, including storage, email, printing, backups, and other critical services. Core Technologies provides 24 hour monitoring of IT services.

Research Computing

Our Research Computing group is responsible for our high performance computing resources, high level consulting for faculty and student research projects, and collaboration with vendors to bring cutting-edge technology into the School.
